The Standard extruded Filament (Tow) is an Acrylic based host fiber, bonded with an outer conductive layer that completely surrounds the host fiber.
The copper forms a bond with the acrylic host fiber, and thus, unlike metal plated or carbon compound fibers, it does not flake off, and offers much better abrasion resistance.nor does it break easily like very fine diameter stainless steel fiber.
The filament itself is triangular shaped, which further enhances it's conductivity
